A whole day under the scorching sun: Wounded Russian soldiers are left lying on a runway in Rostov

A video has appeared on the Internet, which is said to have been filmed by the Russian military on the territory of a military airport in the Rostov region. In the video, servicemen complain that because of the drone attack on Moscow, their flight was delayed and the wounded, including those lying on stretchers, were left waiting right on the runway. The video was published by the Telegram channels “Astra” and “Mobilization. News. What to do?” the independent site reported “Medusa”.

A voiceover says:

“They brought us here at nine in the morning. They banned flights in Moscow because there was a drone attack there. Well, everything will be fine, we understand everything. Well, bring buses, load the fighters, how many wounded there are. All day under the burning sun. The flight will be at 8 o’clock in the evening. There is no food, water was brought a while ago, we have such an animalistic attitude. We, the walkers, are fine, but those who lie down suffer”.

It is not clear from the video whether the military eventually managed to go to Moscow. It is also not specified when it was filmed.

Since the end of July 2023, Moscow and the Moscow Region have been regularly attacked by drones. The last time this happened was on the morning of August 11. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the attack was repulsed.
