A white Christmas is coming in the United States. Snowfall forecast

It is totally normal that at this time of year the states where the climate is more severe increase. In this sense, some regions of the United States have already experienced torrential rains with strong gusts of winds.The truth is that snowfall is just beginning to be seen in some areas, especially in the northern states. In fact, according to a SIXT analysis, these are the territories most likely to experience a white Christmas.

That is to say, of the 50 states in the country, including the District of Columbia, around 10 have a high probability of snow for this season.

The aforementioned analysis also reveals that the Fairbanks region of Alaska is the only state that maintains its annual snowfall probability at 100%.

Snowfall at Christmas

With a 92.2% probability, Minnesota is one of the states where snow is predicted on December 25. Montana follows with 91.1%; Michigan with 88.2%; Maine with 87.2% and Idaho with 80.1%.

Completing the list is North Dakota, with a 77.6% chance of snow; Wisconsin with 72.3%; with 62.3% is Vermont and Colorado with 45%.

On the other hand, according to The Old Farmer’s forecast, there are several places in the United States that will experience a white Christmas at the end of 2023.

This is New England, where snow is expected in the mountains. Snow is also expected in the upper and northern areas of West Virginia, in Appalachia.

To the west, snowfall is expected from New York to Wisconsin in the Lower Great Lakes. Meanwhile, in the Midwest, there will be snowfall in the upper region.

In the High Plains, the entire High Plains region will be covered in white. While in most of the Pacific Northeast region there will be snowfall, except for coastal areas.
