The false testimony of a treacherous crook landed an innocent Will Flaherty behind bars. After three years, the alleged bank robber escapes and returns to Laramie to confront the real culprit.
The escaped convict is not welcome in his hometown; only his lover Peggy, who runs a saloon here, believes in his innocence. Shortly afterwards, heavily armed gangsters appear in the town. Their brutal leader Tilly has all the residents locked up in the church so that his gang can quietly raid a gold transport. However, the first carriage that comes through Laramie does not contain the desired precious metal.
In this straightforwardly directed spaghetti western, action specialist Mario Caiano adds some comedic touches. During a saloon brawl, for example, the bandits have problems with the women’s weapons. Craig Hill in the role of the gentle gunslinger and Eduardo Fajardo as his diabolical opponent stand out from the cast.
