In addition to his previous TV appearances, Hesselgren is a well-known social media star, but he is rarely asked for reality shows.
– Before the stars of Viidako, I was not asked for anything. I was asked for documentaries, but I did not agree to them because I felt that they would not have left me in a good light. Now, after the stars of Viidako, I have been asked to participate in two programs, but we did not reach an agreement.
Hesselgren reveals in the podcast episode that one of the programs is Farm Finland. He was supposed to participate in the filming of the program this year, but Hesselgren could not reach an “agreement” with the production.
Hesselgren says that he is not given reasons why he is not included in the programs. However, he has his doubts about what is behind it.
– I doubt that it will be affected by my sentence from last year. It is not viewed well.
Last year, Hesselgren was convicted of three counts of defamation. Hesselgren was considered to have insulted a fellow trumpeter Janne Naakan honor with the Youtube videos he published in 2019–2020. Among other things, he criticized Naaka’s appearance in the videos very harshly. Hesselgren told Iltalehte earlier this year how the verdict awakened him to change.
– At the same time, people with violent convictions are admitted to the programs. Am I worse? I’m bad with my mouth, but I don’t attack anyone, Hesselgren criticizes production companies.
