A well-known businessman from Vratsa died after he was mowed down by a heart attack on the beach, BulNews reported.

The 62-year-old man from Vratsa died on the North Beach in Ahtopol. He entered the water after some time in the hot sun and suddenly took off his clothes.

Several lifeguards tried to help him, but it was too late for the vacationer.

According to unconfirmed information, the deceased is the businessman from Vratsa Valeri Angelov. He is the owner of a consulting company that also provides geodetic services in Vratsa. His wife and son work in the construction industry and are household names.

The body has already been taken to Burgas, said eyewitnesses who were shocked by what happened today.
