This is a first in the landscape of local service clubs. And it is to the credit of the Rotary club Thionville. On Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 March, at the Salle du Val-Marie, the oldest Rotary club of Nord-Moselle will open the doors of its Beer Fair, with around twenty producers from the Grand Est region. Obviously a charity event.
Among the events that the Rotary club Thionville has set up over the years, dedicated to its humanitarian causes, this one was missing. This novelty will take the form of a meeting dedicated to the hopped specialties of the Grand Est. The opportunity for visitors to do their little market as they wander past the stalls of around twenty producers.
Local productions… and Nepalese!
In-house productions, notably produced in Bibiche, Florange, Guénange, Richemont, Nancy, Ménil-la-Tour, Bitche… but also from the other side of the planet, in Nepal!
Musical entertainment is planned with, at the microphone, the singer Anton Roman, Daniel Balavoine’s voice double (Saturday, from 5 p.m.). And catering will be offered: sauerkraut, Flemish carbonade and chicken… all simmered in beer, not to mention the snacks.
“The proceeds from this weekend will be donated to our works, specifies the president, Marie-Laure Arnould Ochlik: the CCAS of Thionville and cancer research. »
