A week of release in China, Call of Duty Reaches IDR 198 billion in revenue

Jakarta, Selular.ID – The Call of Duty Mobile game was launched in China on December 25, and this game immediately attracted the interest of mobile game players in the country.
Sensor Tower reports the game made more than $ 14 million US dollars, or the equivalent of Rp198 billion.

Not only that, the debut of this game was immediately ranked the 4th best-selling mobile game in China, a week of launch. With this acquisition, Call of Duty has become the most popular game along with other mobile games.

The first position is occupied by Honor of Kings from Tencent with an income of 64 million US dollars or Rp 906 billion. Behind it is PUBG Mobile (local name: Game for Peace) which is also from Tencent with a profit of 24 million US dollars or Rp 339 billion.
Meanwhile, in third place is NetEase’s Fantasy Westward Journey with a profit of 23 million US dollars or Rp 325 billion.

The Chinese version of Call of Duty Mobile was announced via the game’s Weibo page. Since its launch, Call of Duty Mobile has been downloaded more than 300 million times, this figure does not include the new surge in the gaming population in China.

Initial reports said there were more than 70 million pre-registrations ahead of the game’s launch in China. With Call of Duty Mobile officially launching in China, the development team at Tencent is creating a new game trailer that specifically partners with local Chinese celebrities.

This game requires a strong WiFi connection to play. Although not as popular as the main game franchise from Call of Duty, this game combines aspects of each title into a mixing platform that is generally accepted by players.
