a week dedicated to seniors in the metropolis of Lyon

On the occasion of the blue week which takes place throughout the territory, the Lyon region is preparing several activities and events for the elderly.

Like every first week of October for 70 years, France celebrates its elders. Since 1951, the objective of Blue Week has been simple: to promote the place of the elderly in society and to promote intergenerational links. The opportunity for the actors who work regularly with the elderly, to create links between generations by inviting the general public to become aware of the place and the social role that the elderly play in society.
