A wave of empathy for the abandoned baby in need of a special sensor

A wave of empathy for the 4-month-old baby, abandoned to the care of medics in a Sofia hospital. Dozens of viewers wrote to us eagerly to help. The child needed a sensor to monitor his blood sugar.

“Thanks to the campaign, there is already hope for the girl. We received calls from over 100 people who wanted to help. Thus, we were able to provide not only the sensor, but also equipment that is related to raising the baby. There is no need for permanent injections, sugar is measured electronically. One such sensor is used for 2 weeks. We have sensors for 2 and a half months “, he commented on the air of “Hello Bulgaria” Dr. Velimir Simov, Head of the Department of Pediatrics at the National Hospital.

For now, the girl will remain in the hospital.

“We keep in touch with social services that are looking for foster families. We still do not have information about his parents,” explained Dr. Simov.
