A man wanted by the authorities in Poland was arrested in Montana, the Ministry of the Interior announced. The 45-year-old was detained during an operation by the national police and the regional directorate.
The search was reported to the Schengen Information System. The man is suspected of participating in a criminal group for economic crimes and in the kidnapping and illegal keeping of a child.
He is being held on a European arrest warrant. The case is being dealt with by the prosecutor’s office and the international department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Most likely, the foreigner will be extradited.
