It is expected to be voted on today in the plenary hall first reading The bill to amend and supplement the Law on Assistance to Agricultural Producers (ZPZP).
The changes were proposed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, which insists on their urgent adoption.
On September 5, the bill was approved at first reading without much discussion in the Committee on Agriculture and Food.

One of the important changes in the project is related to insurance and the ministry’s intention to open a reception for support of insurance premiums. The aim is to support farmers with damage below 100%, who are excluded from support according to the current legislation.
The second most important change in the bill is the possibility of 25% deductions from the sanctions to be used as state aid.
For the administration, the addendum that regulates when the administrative acts are considered to have been served is important.
