The general director of “Al-Sadiq” secondary school, Ali Ahmed Shaito, announced that, “in sympathy with what was stated in our previous circular about the Easter holiday, and since we are educators and advocates of respect and acceptance of the other, and we believe that Lebanon can only be with the coexistence of all its components, and since it is a virtue to return from error.” .
Shaito apologized to all those who offended him and congratulated “the Lebanese in general and the Christians in particular on the occasion of Easter.”
Sources from the Ministry of Education previously confirmed to An-Nahar that “an offensive statement issued by a school principal is being followed up and processed to take appropriate measures.”
