The virtuoso trio Martina Tabakova, Stoimen Peev and Atanas Krastev presents in Varna and Burgas emblematic masterpieces of romantic music for piano, violin and cello by Brahms, Frank and Vladigerov.
The concert is part of the band’s tour, which starts in Sofia with a concert in the “Bulgaria” Chamber Hall and continues to Varna on 21.11 from 19:00 at the City Art Gallery and Burgas on 22.11 from 19:00 at the Cultural Center Morsko Casino.
The concerts are organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture. Tickets can be purchased on epay.go, at the easypay cash desks and at the entrance to the hall before the concerts.
Among the works are the emblematic Sonata for violin and piano by Caesar Frank, in the rarely performed arrangement for cello and piano, Sonata No. 3 for violin and piano by Johannes Brahms, as well as the first Bulgarian piano trio – by Pancho Vladigerov, on the occasion of 125 years. since his birth.
The three performers are prominent artists, well known to the Bulgarian public.
Their joint activity started in 2023. at the “Festival of Chamber Music Konstantin Iliev” in Dobrich and continues with the concert series “By Vladigerovsky”, organized by the “Pancho Vladigerov House-Museum”, where the performers recreate a concert from June 26, 1941, in which Pancho Vladigerov himself played.
At the invitation of the museum and on the occasion of the anniversary of the famous Bulgarian composer, the performers will continue their tour in Romania, presenting the Bulgarian program on 27.11. in the prestigious “Atheneum” hall in Bucharest.
