Video of a man throwing foam at a car window at Simpang Yasmin, Kota Bogor, West Java, has gone viral on social media. It is said that the man threw foam because he was not given money when he was cleaning the car window.
In the video that was seen detikcom, Sunday (4/8/2024), several people were carrying rags and buckets full of glass cleaning foam in their hands. They went around approaching cars that were stopped at red lights.
They cleaned the windows of the cars that stopped immediately without being asked. However, they immediately threw foam on the car that was willing to give money.

At the time of the incident, it appeared to be after rain. It was reported that residents felt uncomfortable about their behaviour.
When asked for confirmation about the video, Bogor City PP Chief Satpol Agustian Syach said his party had sent workers to the location.
“Yesterday we directed members immediately to the place,” said Agus.
He said he would prevent similar incidents from happening again. Usually, according to him, car window cleaner will appear when it rains.
“But we expect in the future if it rains they will appear,” he said.
