Nguyên Tô Mai therefore followed a B course, ie she began this apprenticeship at Colette college in Ho Chi Minh City and then continued at Marie-Curie high school.
A brilliant French-speaking training
She is one of those who are part of the first promotion validated by a French baccalaureate certificate (June 1999), which, for several students, opened the door to university studies in the countries of the Francophonie. Tô Mai particularly distinguished herself by placing first in the exams developed by French-speaking experts at the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training, in the four subjects on the program: French and mathematics, biology and physics in French.
Having obtained this diploma, she was accepted at INSA (Institute of Applied Sciences) in Lyon in the fall of 1999. After a year in this institution, she clearly realized that engineering was not her. path and therefore, reoriented itself towards the University Jean-Moulin Lyon 3, in the field of management.
She spent five years there, until obtaining her Master 2 in SME management. During these years at Jean-Moulin, she had the opportunity to do a year of study at the University of Glasgow in Scotland thanks to the Erasmus student exchange program. This is how her vocation and taste for international work was born, as she met students from several countries. Thanks to that, she opened up to different cultures, to different ways of thinking and seeing on life. For her, this was a major trigger in her journey.
In addition, throughout her university years, she worked and developed her business acumen, whether during a six-month internship at SEB, a French company known worldwide in the Credit Management service, at FNAC de la Part. -Dieu (Lyon) at the service of suppliers. In short, all these odd jobs allowed him to establish valuable contacts that will be very useful to him in his professional career.
A successful career

With her Master 2, obtained in 2006, she worked for six months in a company dealing with green spaces in Lyon. She then participated in the implementation of a new inventory management system.
However, he began to miss his native country greatly. A return to the country was essential then. It was therefore full of ambitions when she returned to Ho Chi Minh City that she worked for a time for an Audit firm, the Fiducial company before launching a little later in the coordination of language stays abroad. . She will also have the opportunity to accompany students during certain stays in the United States in particular. It will be another great opportunity for her to meet people who will be precious to her in her career.
At the same time, always looking to work internationally and develop partnerships with Vietnam, she came into contact with a French company Michalon Services, specializing in outdoor hotels, seeking to promote a resort project. She therefore set out to find land that could suit the development of this project and bring a lot to tourism development in South Vietnam. The 2008 financial crisis, however, put an end to this fine challenge.
It was also at this time that she met Fred, the father of her two children Tôm and Kim and they decided to return to France, to put her experiences to good use, contributing to various projects this time in the agricultural field.
It was in 2012 – 2013 that she decided to set up on her own by serving as an intermediary for commercial affairs and by putting Vietnamese and French actors in touch. In 2014, she moved to Lorgues in the Var (South of France), to, with a former friend of INSA Lyon, create the company Phan Nguyên a year later. Here they are launched in the import – export of quality organic products, cosmetic and food products. They do business with suppliers from all over the world and, since 2015, the company has been a leader in Vietnam.
Thanks to Fred, her life companion, who helped her a lot and supported her in the process of setting up her business, Tô Mai is now truly fulfilled. Phan Nguyên continues to grow and she finally feels fulfilled in her field.
