Istanbul, Oct 8 (EFE).- A video that predicts a “commemoration of the Palestinian genocide in 2040” and that has gone viral on social networks after it was shared by the Turkish president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has been produced by the Presidency from Turkey, sources from the presidency confirmed to EFE this Tuesday.
The video, 1:55 minutes long, begins with a supposed news program from a television station in Seattle (United States) in 2040 that takes a tour of the commemorations of the “16th anniversary of the Palestinian genocide” around the world.
It shows images of a “genocide monument” in Berlin, a projection in a Paris cinema and a museum in Seoul, with photographs and shoes of the victims.
The children who visit these places then turn to their fathers, mothers and grandparents and ask them “Why didn’t you do anything?”, to which they only respond by looking at the ground in silence.
“The genocide committed by Israel kills Palestinians,” states a final sentence, in English, Turkish, Arabic and Hebrew, and then replaces the word “Palestinians” with “humanity.”
