The Pentagon reports that the incident lasted 30-40 minutes.
The video shows footage from the rear camera of the MQ-9 Reaper drone. A captured moment of a Russian Sukhoi SU-27 fighter jet approaching the drone. As it approaches, a Russian fighter jet jettisons jet fuel in an attempt to intercept the drone.
Then there is a shot of a Russian fighter jet making another flyby. As it approaches, it dumps fuel again.
A Russian fighter then collides with an MQ-9 Reaper, damaging the propeller. The video pauses for a moment. US officials previously announced that the drone became uncontrollable at that moment and had to be dropped into the sea.

On Wednesday, the Secretary of the Russian Security Council, Nikolai Patrushev, announced that Russia will try to take out the US drone.
“I don’t know if we will be able to bring it out or not, but it has to be done. And we will definitely work on it,” Patrushev said, expressing hope that the American drone would be found.
Washington claims that the Russian Su-27 jet fighter intercepted the US MQ-9 Reaper drone over the Black Sea on Tuesday, which became uncontrollable and had to be dropped into the sea. Moscow denies responsibility for the incident.
The head of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), Sergei Naryshkin, stated that Russia has the technical capabilities to launch a flying robot.
Ukraine believes that the Kremlin tried to expand the conflict in Ukraine by causing the incident over the Black Sea.
