Turkish rescue teams managed to pull out a live baby from under the rubble of a building in Hatay state, 140 hours after the earthquake disaster that struck the south of the country.
The Greater Kocaeli Municipality Presidency said, in a statement, that its firefighting teams rescued the infant Hamza from under the rubble of a building in the Antakya region of Hatay, according to what was reported by the Turkish “Anatolia” news agency.
The statement indicated that the teams removed Hamza, who is 7 months old, after staying for 140 hours under the rubble, and handed him over to an ambulance team to be transferred to the hospital.
