An elderly woman died and five people were injured in a serious accident between two cars on the Ruse-Byala road.
The incident happened around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Two cars collided in the area of the junction for the village of Ivanovo.
Police and emergency teams were immediately dispatched to the scene.
The elderly woman died on the spot. Another five people were injured and were taken by ambulance to a Ruse hospital, the health facility reported to BTA.
The traffic in the section is difficult and is two-way in one lane, the Road Infrastructure Agency reported. Traffic is regulated by police teams.
