A boat full of more than 300 tons of fish was seized on Sunday, on the coast of Soyo region, Zaire region, for allegedly fishing illegally in national waters.
The information was released this Monday, to the media, in Mbanza Kongo, by the spokesperson for the Zaire Regional Command of the National Police, the fourth master Luís Bernardo, who accepted that it was a vessel of democratic Congolese origin, because it has a flag. that neighboring country.
Named “Bosa F2”, the vessel, with 10 crew members on board, including two Chinese and eight Democratic Congolese, was captured following an operation involving the Multi-Divisional Investigation and Investigation Group for the Sea Coast in the area of Zaire.
The caught fish, according to the source, was given to the fishing company “Canal Yá Poto” as a loyal custodian, while the work of the ten team members at the Public Prosecutor’s Office continues.
