Srinivasan says there were protests as usual when the film “Masthe” was released. He says, as part of that, he got a lot of dumb calls. The actor was speaking in an interview with One to Talks.

“When the film Sandesham was released, there were protests as usual that day. As part of it, I got a lot of dumb words. The letters came without name and address.

One of them wrote, ‘Oh, we bought you the freedom you enjoy today.’ I didn’t realize it was freedom. I searched everywhere and I didn’t find that freedom (laughs). That’s what Pulli actually wrote in that dumb voice,’ said Srinivasan.
