Demolition work has been underway on the old ice rink at Friedrichspark for several weeks. Although there will soon be nothing left to remind us of the time-honored cult site, Friedrichspark will live on forever with us. In the upcoming season, this will include the fact that before every game we will go out on the ice wearing warm-up jerseys that have been designed in a special Friedrichspark design.
The front reveals the view from the former players’ tunnel into the wide area of the Friedrichspark. A red stripe in the otherwise blue jersey, which continues up to the sleeves, symbolizes the semi-openness of the stadium, while the traditional MERC crest on the stomach rounds off the nostalgic touch. The old video cube is just as clearly visible as the characteristic roof structure. The warm-up jersey is completed by the printed “always remember” patch, which was already on the sleeves of the match jerseys in the 2022/23 season.
You can order your warm-up jersey in the ticket and fan shop at the SAP Arena, in the WHISTLE (Q 6 / Q 7) and in the online shop. Over the course of the coming week, our shops will have more and more copies ready for you on site. The warm-up jerseys are only available as fan jerseys, as they are also worn by the players. The jerseys, which we offer in sizes S-5XL, cost 85 euros.
