A very special Lamborghini Murcielago SV – Mondo Auto

Of the more than 4,000 Murcielago specimens built by Lamborghini from 2002 to 2010, there were 186 which, in production since 2009, have brought with them the sigla SV. An acronym for “super fast”, which meant an increase in performance that the car manufacturer del Toro introduced compared to the original variant launched on the market seven years earlier. Curious as in the plans of Lamborghini there was actually the desire to assemble 350 units of the Murcielago SV, an estimate which was then halved due to the advance of the preparation process of the production line for the Aventador.

Lamborghini, Domenicali’s farewell is now official

In short, in the end Lamborghini decided to produce only 186 units. And just one of these was spotted these days in Malaysia in a very particular configuration. The image of the supercar, posted on the social news, entertainment, and forum website Reddit, was taken near a tire dealer in Malaysia, and shows this particular Murcielago SV in an all-yellow livery. This specimen’s equipment sports a high rear wing and SV stickers located on the doors. But what absolutely steals the show is the fact that compared to the original version this special Murcielago SV features a lightweight wheelset with glossy black spokes made by BMW. A disorienting effect generated by these tires, even if it seems unlikely that the owner will be driving on the Malaysian roads with this configuration.

Lamborghini Urus Graphite Capsule, aggressive look

From an engine point of view, the Lamborghini Murcielago SV is powered by a V12 capable of unleashing a total power of 670 hp and delivering a maximum torque of 660 Nm. The sprint from 0 to 100 km / h takes place in 3.2 seconds, while the maximum speed that can be reached is 342 km / h. Among the many advantages of this SV variant there is also the weight of the car, reduced by 100 kilograms compared to previous versions thanks to the use of carbon fiber, alcantara and other light materials.
