Alain Bédard, the big boss of TFI International, pocketed nearly $ 7.2 million during the month of May by exercising stock options in the Quebec trucking company. The stock has gained 75% year-to-date mainly due to the acquisition of US carrier UPS Freight for nearly $ 1 billion. Mr. Bédard’s stake in TFI is now worth more than $ 500 million.

The chairman of the board of directors of 5N Plus, Luc Bertrand, has bought more than $ 330,000 in shares of the Montreal company since the beginning of the month.
