A truly unusual event occurred in Alabama: 37-year-old Roy Lee Clouder kidnapped an unknown woman and forced her to give him marriage vows in a church, writes FOX News.
In early October, a woman who wished to remain anonymous was driving along the highway when she noticed Clouder standing in the middle of the road. Fearing that the man might get run over, she stopped. At that point, Klauder pulled out a gun and forced her into the passenger seat.
He then took the woman to a nearby church, where he performed what appeared to be an impromptu wedding ceremony. The victim was forced to give him marriage vows. After this, Klauder committed rape, and then continued to ride around in the car with his “wife”.
The victim managed to remain calm and remember the entire route. She even filmed the moment Clouder forced her to marry him. Rescue came thanks to the woman’s relatives, who contacted the police. Clouder released the captive when the car was stopped by police.
Roy Lee Clouder is currently in custody, facing charges of kidnapping and rape.
