A unique sight in the night sky stunned Bulgaria PHOTOS

The phenomenon has its own explanation and is called the conjunction of the Moon with Venus and Jupiter

The Moon and the planets Venus and Jupiter lined up very interestingly in the sky. A photo of the unique phenomenon appeared on Facebook.

“What is this phenomenon? I have never seen such a moon with two stars before,” asks the author of the shot.

The great spectacle has its explanation. The phenomenon is called the conjunction of the Moon with Venus and Jupiter, writes glasnews.bg.

“Yes, I saw the same thing very clearly when I was driving down to Sunny Beach, then again on the road to Burgas,” wrote Plamen Georgiev.

“Jupiter, the Moon and Venus! The two planets are expected to be closest to each other on March 1 and 2! They will be seen as a double star!”, Rachel commented under Slavi’s photo.

“There are also such phenomena… But people rarely look to the sky…”, Daria added.

This is just one of the interesting astronomical events that will happen in 2023.

On the evening of May 5, a lunar eclipse will be observed from the Earth’s penumbra. It will be visible at dusk in the east, when the moon will rise obscured by the Earth’s penumbra.

A solar eclipse will be observed on April 20 and October 14, but not from Bulgaria.

And on November 28 and 29, a partial lunar eclipse will occur, which will have a small phase. It will already be visible from Bulgaria, and its maximum phase will be around 11:15 p.m.
