While Mikheil Saakashvili and his cronies are trying to get the Georgian authorities to transfer him from prison for treatment abroad, a separate drama is unfolding in Ukraine related to his relationship with Verkhovna Rada deputy Lisa Yasko, “Strana” informs.
Lovers have been hiding their romantic relationships for a long time in 2020. But when Saakashvili returned to Georgia a year later, where he was arrested, a confession of his love for Lisa Yasko appeared on his social media pages. So the couple went public with their relationship.
Later it became known that Saakashvili has an illegitimate daughter Alice-Maria (now 2 and a half years old) from the Georgian singer Sofia Nizharadze. He publicly acknowledges the girl as his own and hangs a picture of her in his prison cell.
At first, Lisa Yasko flew to Tbilisi to see her beloved, recorded video messages in support of him. But after that she noticeably reduced her efforts.
“Jasko hasn’t visited him in prison for a year, she doesn’t even keep in touch with Saakashvili,” say his close friends.
According to them, she played with Saakashvili’s feelings and allegedly even had selfish intentions: the deputy wanted to get rights to his property in Ukraine.
“She even pretended to be pregnant. She told Misha and his mother that she was expecting a baby. So she forced him to record a video confession about their relationship before Saakashvili left for Georgia,” explains a source from the former president’s inner circle.
According to him, the relationship between Yasko and Saakashvili ended completely when she found out that all his property was registered in the name of his mother.
Also, according to the source, Jasko was jealous of his young daughter Alice-Maria, who asked him to remove her pictures in prison.
Now that Saakashvili is in critical condition in prison, Lisa is taking no action.
“She doesn’t fly, she doesn’t keep in touch with him in any way,” says the interlocutor of “Strana”.
