It also had many striking elements capable of flying within a radius of 150 meters
A Ukrainian drone equipped with a 100-kilogram bomb crashed 9 minutes after a flight from Moscow, world media reported.
During the incident, which took place in the Kaluga region, it became known that the Ukrainian drone that crashed over the region did not reach Moscow by about 150 kilometers.
Taking into account the speed of the drone, the latter can reach the borders of Moscow after 9 minutes of flight. At the same time, the drone was modified and equipped with a 100-kilogram high-explosive OFAB-100-120 bomb with a power of 46 kg in TNT equivalent.
The bomb fell, but did not detonate, its remains were found at the scene of the accident. The nature of the weapons installed on the drone suggests that it was intended to destroy as many people as possible.
The bomb has a large number of striking elements capable of flying within a radius of 150 meters.
According to information, the reason for the explosion of the drone in the Kaluga region is that the latter touched the tops of trees.
It is not yet known exactly where the Ukrainian drone was shot down, but it is apparently either Kharkiv or Sumy Oblast.
