This was announced by the spokesman of the United Press Center of the Defense Forces of the Tavrichesky Division, Colonel Alexey Dmitrashkovsky, on the air of the telethon, Censor.net reports.
Thus, during the past 24 hours, the enemy tried 21 times to attack positions in the area of Avdeevka and Mariinka, but without success.
“They did not succeed on any of the battle lines. At night, the enemy stopped attacking completely. This is probably due to the numerous losses,” says Dmitrashkovsky.
According to him, only yesterday the enemy lost about two companies killed and wounded.
“Instead, it became known that in the area of Avdeevka and Maryinka, another Russian special forces unit from the 98th Airborne Assault Brigade was attached to the unit of the 155th Marine Infantry Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces. This is a kind of strengthening, but the morale-psychological condition of this unit is zero. Therefore, it is not known what this special unit can do,” noted Dmitrashkovsky.
He noted that in the direction of Avdeevsky, Russian troops tried quite hard to attack two weeks ago, but suffered rather significant losses in manpower and equipment.
“Accordingly, they need time to recover. The division of the 98th brigade, as you know, is one of the last combat-ready reserves in this direction,” said Dmitrashkovsky.
He added that the adversary in this direction has somewhat reduced its activity, there is an accumulation of forces and funds of the Russian Federation.
“But for the Russian military pensioners in the Kremlin, the main idea is to surround Avdeyevka. They don’t need the city itself, but they need to locate all the defense forces that are in this city. So far, all these attempts have been in vain, and we are actually waiting to see what will happen further. But taking everything into account, it is noticeable that the opponent is already quite exhausted,” summed up Dmitrashkovsky.
The Russian army continues its offensive during the operation to capture Avdeyevka.

Ukraine will not be able to receive Polish MiG-29 fighters without Germany’s permission, foreign media write.
Despite the fact that there was already information that Poland allegedly transferred the first four MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine (and according to other sources it should transfer them in the next few days), it turned out that in reality the delivery of Polish fighters to Ukraine is impossible – Germany has not authorized the transfer of these aircraft.
As it became known, Berlin did not receive requests for permission to supply fighters received by Poland from the GDR. Information on this matter was announced by the Cabinet of Ministers of Germany, in connection with which Ukraine will hardly be able to receive Polish fighters before mid-April.
In Berlin, they were shocked that Poland, without any notification and permission from Germany, arbitrarily decided to transfer combat aircraft to Ukraine. In this regard, Germany is ready to follow the principle and not give Ukraine the right to use these aircraft to conduct hostilities against Russia.
Earlier it became known that Poland intends to transfer 28 MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine, and Slovakia – 13 more fighters.
