I appreciate their victories mainly as individual successes of the smart beauties and their most deserving inspirers and sponsors – their parents and relatives. It is natural that they learned from the rich international and Bulgarian chess heritage.
But we can be proud that the magnificent five and the selector protected the Bulgarian tricolor!

The current triumph of our chess jewels is the first ranking for Bulgaria in the Top 3 in the more than half-century history of the team competition on the Old Continent – both for men (since 1957) and for women (since 1992). The previous highest ranking for the Bulgarian team at the European Chess Championship was 4th place – among the ladies at the championship in Gothenburg in 2005. Then Grandmaster Antoineta Stefanova and selector Atanas Kolev led a team with Margarita Voiska, Maria Velcheva, Emilia Jingarova and Lyubka Genova. But for ten years, Bulgarian participation was not allowed in similar international forums, due to continuous struggles for power over the chess intellectuals of sports-fed trolls and parasites.
Currently all 5-6 gathered – in the chaos of Bulgarian chess, and other sports – various “national chess federations” take credit for their contribution to the success of the five magicians. Until a month ago, none of these types of feats for funds from – sorry, the FIDE pit – had international recognition. The current invitation to participate in the victory championship was received by BSFSH (The Bulgarian Sports Federation by chess) with leader Grandmaster Milen Vassilev.
Well, for female champions without sporting luck, it’s impossible! For example, that Russian girls did not compete under their own flag and team, but in Italy, France and other globalized sports destinations. As a “result” of the parrot solidarity with the “progressive international community” against Moscow’s war in Ukraineso “the limited military operation“, the Kremlin’s counterattack against the “world of the golden billion”.
Salute to the winners! Let’s hope they don’t completely and completely (?) soon take over the mercenary guest worker-emigrant field, or at least they won’t be afraid to compete under the Bulgarian tricolorgo!
