Fans recreating real cities in games is always an interesting topic. Today we would like to draw your attention to one of this type of projects in the form of: Warsaw Śródmieście to strategy Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic, developed by a modder named Annamathys.
The modification covers the center of our capital, combining modern elements with those from the Polish People’s Republic. It is not suitable for normal gameplay and is used more for virtual travel.
The main element of the project is a very detailed map.
- For it to work properly, you need to set the difficulty level to low and make sure you have it installed additional modifications required.
- There are over 200 of them, and if you want to enjoy the traffic, you have to add to that another 46 mods.
It sounds scary, but don’t worry – all of these projects are made available in simple lists on Steam Workshop. So you don’t have to install them manually, just use the “Subscribe to all” option on each list.
The author is currently working on a major update that will finally add one-way roads. Previously this was not possible due to the limitations of itself Workers & Resources: Soviet Republicbut last month the game received a patch that allows it.
Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic is only available on PC. The game debuted in early access in March 2019. Currently, it has been discounted as part of the Steam autumn sale, so you can buy it for PLN 97.49. The offer will remain valid until November 28.
