A Tribute: Jean-Claude Van Damme’s Words to Khabib Nurmagomedov & Mourning Abdulmanap’s Death

Amateur and icon of martial arts, Jean-Claude Van Damme therefore displays close ties with MMA and its stars. Following the sudden death of Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, he joined Khabib’s mourning and addressed a few words to him.

Even before MMA was officially recognized, he was already exploding the box office counters thanks to his mastery of karate, taekwondo and other kickboxing. Born too early to try his hand at this multi-disciplinary sport, Jean-Claude Van Damme nevertheless followed its evolution carefully. Also seen as a combat sports legend, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov died on July 3, 2020 following complications linked to Covid-19. Three days later, Van Damme published this post in the style of a tribute, visibly very marked by the illustrious trajectory of the fiftieth anniversary. This, without forgetting to send his thoughts to Khabib, for whom this disappearance hastened the end of his career.
