Ahmed Schubert said that there is a tendency within the Football Association’s quintet to postpone the league match scheduled for February 24.
“I think there is a trend within the Football Association that Al-Ahly and Zamalek match on 20 plays in the super and the league match is carried over,” Schubert said during his TV show on On Sport.
Schubert added: “I think I do not have firm information that will play the Zamalek and Al-Masry deferred match and the Al-Ahly and postponed match and the Al-Ahly and Zamalek match will be carried over. I imagine that this thought within the Football Association I hope there will be an answer from the officials can be my wrong perception but I think they think this way.”
It is noteworthy that the Football Association postponed the game Al-Ahly and Zamalek in the fourth round, which was scheduled for October until the end of the first round due to security.
The Competitions Department in the Egyptian Federation returned to set February 19 as the date for the summit match before being replaced by the super match and set February 24 as the date for the match at the end of the first round.
