A fuel truck crashed into a bump stop, fuel spilled onto the carriageway – the road was blocked in both directions.
Due to an accident on the 171th kilometer of the Kyiv-Kharkiv-Dovzhansky highway, traffic in both directions is blocked. About it informs Patrol police on Friday, July 9th.
The incident took place between Lubny and Piryatin in the Poltava region.
“An accident occurred there: a fuel truck, which was moving in the direction of Kiev, drove into a bump stop. As a result of the accident, fuel was spilled onto the roadway,” the message says.
Traffic on this section of the road is blocked in both directions – a traffic jam has formed on the highway.
“On the spot, employees of the State Emergencies Service are working, who are involved in eliminating the consequences of a fuel leak. Patrol police regulate traffic in both directions,” added the patrol officers.
Recall that earlier in an accident in the Rivne region a 9-year-old child died… The car flew off the road and rolled over. One girl died at the scene. Another, her cousin, was injured.
It was also reported that in the Kiev region the truck ran over two people on a moped… The moped driver drove off the secondary road to the main road, where he got hit by the wheels of a truck.
