As many as 60 sympathizers of the suspect in the student molestation case, Moch Subchi Azal Tsani (42) alias Bechi was taken to the Jombang Police Station, East Java.
Dozens of people were arrested after obstructing the process of forcibly picking up Bechi, at the Shiddiqiyyah Islamic Boarding School, Ploso, Jombang.

“A total of 60 people [ditangkap]and we still have some in it,” said Head of Public Relations of the East Java Police, Kombes Dirmanto, Thursday (7/7).
Dirmanto confirmed that the dozens of people arrested were Bechi sympathizers from outside the pesantren, not santri or residents of the pesantren.
They were transported using a police truck and Satpol PP to the Jombang Police Station.
“We maintain the conduciveness inside, so that we comb people outside the hut, we check one by one, if it is not people here or students here we will bring them,” he said.
At the same time, the police also arrested a follower of Bechi, the initials DD. He was the driver who injured the officers while hunting for Bechi last Sunday (3/7).
“We secured the Panther driver, who on the 3rd obstructed the MSAT arrest process on behalf of DD. We have arrested him, brought him in, secured him,” he said.
