A total of 510,800 certificates of origin were issued by the Chinese authorities in August

/Pogled.info/ A total of 510,800 certificates of origin were issued by the Chinese authorities in August, according to data from the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. Of these, 21,672 were issued under the free trade agreement within the framework of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), representing a year-on-year growth of 16.04 percent.

The certificates are expected to reduce tariffs by $11 million on Chinese products imported into the RIP member countries, the council said.

Certificates of origin are documents that are widely used in international trade transactions. They indicate that the products listed in them meet sufficient criteria to be considered as originating in a particular country. The issuance of these certificates is widely regarded as a barometer of foreign trade.
