A total of 1,301,685 people over the age of 18 have so far received the first booster dose of the covid-19 vaccine in the Basque Country and 441,816 have received the second, according to the data collected in the information bulletin on vaccination against covid-19. covid-19 published this Monday by the Department of Health of the Basque Government.

This rate exceeds 95% in all age groups over 60 years, it is 85.2% among people between 50 and 59 years, 65.6% between 40 and 49 years, 47.3% between 30 and 39 years, and 41% between 18 and 29 years.
The second booster dose reaches a coverage rate of 33.9%. The coverage rate with this second booster dose is 80.6% among those over 80 years of age and reaches 87% if only people over 90 years of age are taken into account. In the group of 70 to 79 years it is 67%, and between 60 and 69 years of 46% and 11.8% among people from 50 to 59 years. Below 50 years, it is below 10% in all bands.
Osakidetza has so far administered 144,215 pediatric vaccines. In addition to these pediatric Pfizer vaccines, 2.94 million doses have been administered from BioNTech/Pfizer, 1.18 million from Moderna/Lonza, 479,679 from AstraZeneca, 99,309 from Janssen, and 470,092 from BioNTech/Pfizer Omicron.
