The weather will change significantly today, the sky will gradually darken from the west, and rain, showers and thunderstorms are expected in many places in the southwest. The daytime peak temperature will be between 18 and 23 degrees, and wind gusts can reach 60 km/h.
Weather similar to Thursday is expected on Friday, but from Saturday we can expect a slight warming that will last until Sunday.
From Monday next week, however, the period of showers and thunderstorms will begin: intense rains and violent storms are to be expected until Thursday, and hail is also possible. Daytime maximums drop below 20 degrees, and minimum temperatures drop to 4 degrees at night.
The Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMÚ) will probably signal the arrival of storms with alarms on the affected days.
