The body was found at around 6.30 pm yesterday by young people passing by on the rock crown, under the Climber’s House. Whether she fell, pushed or jumped is being clarified.
“The investigation is being conducted under Article 115 of the Penal Code for premeditated murder, but at the moment we cannot confirm that this is the case. Ipek was last seen Wednesday morning around 7:30 p.m. in Gorna Oryahovitsa, where she met a girl she knew. After that, her traces were lost, and her parents sought help from the police and declared her missing.
“There is an investigative version that it could be a murder or suicide provoked by the girl’s relationship with a 40-year-old man from the village, but at this stage we do not have reliable information that we can share,” Radoslav Kosev added.
Numerous investigative actions have taken place, including the questioning of witnesses.
