Those who have a PlayStation 4 can also play a large number of games that are released on the PS5 on the PS4. But whoever follows his heart and just brings him into the house on day one will probably not regret it much.

The PlayStation 4 is of course seven years old and quite outdated in terms of hardware. The PlayStation 5 brings innovation in that regard. That makes games look and run better. A 4K resolution with ray tracing (think of windows that mirror and better light effects) or a higher frame rate is possible. At launch, there aren’t many games that are bizarrely impressive, but in a year’s time you will start seeing games that really blow your mind.

The most important new technology that will be brought into the PlayStation 5 is that of a custom SSD. This ensures that the loading times in games are insanely fast. You can say goodbye to games where you sometimes have to wait thirty seconds before you can get started with a game. Fasttravel in games is therefore almost instant and really a tool that you want to use. Starting a new game quickly in your favorite game is now also a lot faster. It sounds like a minor point, but in practice it is so much better to play games.
Switch between games
It’s also a lot nicer to switch between games. It is possible to have games in standby while you are playing another game. Suppose you play a game of FIFA 21 in career mode. And then you get an app of a size to experience the new Call of Duty in multiplayer. You play with him for an hour and then he has to go. You can then go straight back to FIFA 21 without having to restart the game. So if you are in a game in the 60th minute, you just continue right there and that is a considerable game changer that the PlayStation 5 brings.

Another damn nice thing about the PlayStation 5 is that it is extremely quiet. This is largely due to the size of the game console, as it is far from small.
