In addition to this, drinking a large amount of water on an empty stomach reduces stomach acidity, which affects the digestion of food and over time becomes a cause of stomach diseases. Therefore, it is not recommended to drink more than 150 milliliters of water on an empty stomach, and to drink this amount in small sips.

2- It is not recommended to replace the first cup of water with milk, coffee, juice or mineral water. Because this does not lead to replenishing the fluid balance in the body, and it triggers the digestive process, which negatively affects the health of the stomach and intestine. Also, some of these drinks diuretic, which causes a decrease in the amount of fluid in the body.

3- You should not drink salt water, because it causes a rise in the level of blood pressure. And increases the burden of the kidneys.

4- People who suffer from constipation can drink water with honey, and the water should be cold or slightly warm, and not very hot.

5- It is better for many to drink boiled water, as it is free of sugar and salt and will not burden the kidneys, heart and blood vessels.

6- It is not recommended to drink very cold or very hot water. Because cold water stimulates the work of the stomach and intestines, and causes the blood vessels in the stomach mucosa to contract, which may cause pain and diarrhea. However, very hot water damages the delicate lining of the esophagus, and this may lead to cancer. Also, taking any liquid with a temperature of 65 ° C or more causes burns. If this occurs on a regular basis, it causes damage to the normal structure of cells, which leads to the development of malignancies. Therefore, to prevent irritation of the stomach lining, it is best to drink liquids whose temperature does not exceed 50 degrees Celsius.
