A Throwback to the 90s: Versace’s Fall 1995-Inspired Collection Shines at Fashion Week

The new Versace collection was inspired by the fall of 1995.

Fashion Week continues in Milan and on September 22, a show of the new collection of the Versace Fashion House spring-summer 2024 took place. The show created a lot of noise, largely due to the participation of famous models in it.

One of the stars of the show was the 53-year-old German supermodel of the 90s Claudia Schiffer.

She showed off a mint green “metallic” slip dress with lace inserts on the chest and waist, as well as a trendy diamond print in clown style. Previously Giorgio Armani presented a whole collection with this print.

This is a fairly traditional style for the brand, as are the straps, which were thin and monogrammed with the brand. Schiffer’s look on the catwalk was complemented by shoes with bows and voluminous hair.

Fashion designer Donatella Versace shared photos from the backstage of this show on Instagram and called Schiffer an icon of the brand.

“An amazing entrepreneur, mother and my favorite blonde besides me. Welcome back to the Versace family, I love you dearly,” the designer wrote.

Let us remember that in the 90s, Claudia collaborated a lot with this brand and took part in the shows of both Gianni Versace and Donatella. She also starred in photo shoots for the brand.
