A three-alarm fire in the Bronx leaves about 6 firefighters injured, two of them in serious condition – Telemundo New York (47)

NEW YORK – A three-alarm fire in a Bronx building left 6 firefighters injured, two of them in serious condition, authorities announced.

According to the report, the fire occurred around 12:37 pm in 719 Coster Street, and a total of 33 members and about 140 firefighters arrived. The fire was controlled about two hours later.

During the incident 6 firefighters were injured, two of them seriously. Three were transported to area hospitals and three were treated at the scene.

Details of what caused the fire have not yet been released.

This is a case under investigation.
