A thousand demonstrators on the Malieveld! Protesters make a fist against emergency law – De Daily Standaard

There are such 1000 people came to Malieveld in The Hague to make a stand against the emergency law. Until now, everything has gone peacefully, and the demonstrators are trying to make their point: the emergency law is a danger to Dutch democracy. From inverted Luxembourg flags to tractors, everything and everyone is there.

A motley collection of people have reported in The Hague, as a last resort to try to convince politicians not to agree to the emergency law.

After all the fuss that arose after the demonstration on Thursday, many hundreds of people still came to The Hague. According to the protesters, it is not possible to demonstrate often enough against the horror that is called the emergency law.

On Twitter the never-ending discussions have started again, and some keenly attentive Tweeps saw some strange things again. There are people who wave the Dutch flag the wrong way, but also – sigh – people who wave the Luxembourg flag. It is also difficult for some.

We also see the famous hikers driving towards the Malieveld again. While the hikers in the recent past caused quite a bit of fear in some, they are also present in The Hague.
