The Montluçon exhibition center (Allier) will be targeted by young snipers for four days. Indeed, AS Tir La Treignatoise (ASTT) has been selected as a support club for the 2022 French shooting school championships.
It is therefore a thousand little trigger-happy aces – and as many supervisors – who will invest the Montluçonnais site from this Thursday, May 26 and until Sunday, May 29, at the initiative of the French Shooting Federation.
The categories
Aged 10 to 14 years old, the competitors will compete in categories (youngsters, youngest children, youngsters) and in disciplines. Which are: the field crossbow, the moving target (rifles with scopes), the pistol (accuracy, speed and 3/7), as well as the rifle (accuracy and three positions). All shooting is carried out at a distance of ten meters, with compressed air weapons and pellets as ammunition.

The process
The French champions as well as the podiums by age category and discipline will be known at the end of one-hour matches during which the participants will have forty shots to shoot at electronic targets. All that remains is to accumulate the points. To see who will have hit the bullseye.
The program
– Thursday, May 26.
* From 4 p.m., meeting with the coaches.
* From 5:30 p.m., para-shooting.
* At 7 p.m., opening ceremony.
– Friday, May 27. From 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
– Saturday, May 28. From 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
– Sunday, May 29. From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
At the same time, fun workshops open to all will be offered at the exhibition center.
