An anecdote shows the popularity of the Corsican singer. Tino Rossi, in fact, at the age of 75, symbolically returns to the stage of his debut, at the Casino de Paris, to celebrate his half-century career. The performances began in November 1982 with a show, directed by Maritie and Gilbert Carpentier. The success was triumphant and Tino Rossi made his last curtain on January 2, 1983.
Nine months later, the singer retired on September 26, 1983, leaving behind an extraordinary career.
