The police intervened in the Grésilles district of Dijon on Wednesday June 24, 2020. Searches were carried out, people arrested and police custody extended.

This is the third operation of this type which is carried out in less than a week, following nights of urban violence and the recent clashes between members of the Chechen and Maghreb communities that occurred between June 12 and 15.
Each time, the objective is the same: to dismantle the drug and weapons networks.
1-The premiere took place on Friday June 19.
2-A second operation was launched early Monday, June 22 in the Grésilles district of Dijon. Nearly 110 officials have been hired by counting the Raid, the BIS, the gendarmes, the canine teams, the Bac, the investigators … We found weapons, ammunition, narcotics, money …
Nine people were arrested on Monday. All are already known to the police and have a criminal record.
Since then, the custody of a minor has been lifted. Otherwise, 8 police custody were the subject of a new extension for a maximum duration of 48 hours at the request of the Dijon parquet.
A police operation was carried out in Les Grésilles on Wednesday 24 June. It was the third in less than a week after the recent clashes between residents of the neighborhood and Chechens.

3-This Wednesday June 24, according to our information, new people were arresteds near boulevard Paul Doumer, as well as the adjoining town hall. Weapons were again found.
“The investigation continues,” said the public prosecutor of Dijon, who must communicate new information during the day.
