The coronavirusMade a third victim in Morbihan. The prefecture announced on Friday that a 90-year-old woman died as a result of a
Covid 19 infection. It was the third death in the department of southern Brittany. 94 year old woman
passed away on Wednesday and a 92-year-old man died last week.
According to the authorities, 85 cases are to be deplored in the department, considered as a “Active circulation area” of the virus. “To date, out of all 85 confirmed patients, 53 have returned to their homes with good general health, 29 have been hospitalized and three have unfortunately died,” said the prefecture.
Schools have already been closed for almost two weeks in some municipalities in the department where the “cluster” has been detected, particularly around Auray and Carnac.
