A source within the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has revealed that there is a trend towards postponing the draw ceremonies for the Champions League and Confederation Cup group stage fixtures, scheduled for tomorrow in Cairo.
An official source of Kaf Lila Koura confirmed that the existence of technical problems related to the satellite transmission of the lottery ceremony was the main reason for its indefinite postponement.
He explained that some “KAF” officials held several meetings this morning on board the plane arriving from Morocco to Cairo to discuss this crisis and find a quick solution.
Al-Ahly and Zamalek will participate in the African Champions League competition (2022-2023), while Pyramids and Future will participate in the African Confederation competition.
