The group A-Teens reunites.

18 years after the break-up, they appear in Melodifestivalen’s premiere, Expressen reveals.

– It is true that the A-Teens are reuniting in Melodifestivalen 2024, which we think is so funny, says project manager Anders Wistback to the newspaper.

A-teens broke through with a bang when they released the album “The Abba generation” with new interpretations of Abba songs.

The group consisted of the teenagers Marie SerneholtSara Lumholdt, Dhani Lennevald and Amit Paul and the music project became a great success in Sweden during the late 90s and early 00s.

In 2006, the group split up, but now it is clear that they are making a comeback, which The Express was the first to report.

– It is true that the A-Teens are reuniting in Melodifestivalen 2024, which we think is so funny. They will appear on stage together as an interlude during the first part of the competition in Malmö, says Melodifestivalen’s project manager Anders Wistbacka in a comment to the newspaper.

According to a press release from SVT, A-Teens will offer a “sparkling medley with both their own songs and some of ABBA’s songs”.

This year A-Teens celebrates its 25th anniversary and it is 50 years since ABBA won Eurovision with “Waterloo”.
